Jessalyn Miller
About
Jessalyn Miller is a current audio engineer and radio producer with experience in radio, television, podcasting, and video editing. She earned her Master of Science in Audio Engineering from Belmont University in May of 2023 and her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Alabama in May of 2021 where she graduated magna cum laude with University Honors.

While she fell in love with music at a young age, she did not learn about mixing and mastering music and audio until her sophomore year of college. She changed her major from music education to general music so that she could pursue this new venture that stole her heart.

Now, she combines her classical training alongside her engineering training to help create radio broadcasts and music in a variety of genres, including country, rock, jazz, and classical as well as other audio projects, including podcasts.

Additionally, throughout her studies and work experiences, Jessalyn developed a love for editing not only audio and music, but videos, photos, and some graphic design as well. The software she has done various projects in both her education and her profession includes Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Adobe Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, Wavelab, Photopea, Canva, and much more.

In spring 2023, Jessalyn interned at The Cast Collective located in Nashville, TN, where she gained hands-on experience in video and audio production, live sound, video editing, podcast editing, and much more. Throughout this experience, she has been able to mix and edit both long-form and short-form content for multiple podcasts, including Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, The Two Percent Podcast, The Sweet House podcast, and Rooted Recovery Stories. Since graduating, she has been able to assist on various sets with The Cast Collective and Delta Airlines along with various personal projects on social media.

In February of 2025, Jessalyn started one of her dream full-time jobs as a radio producer for three small stations that cover East Alabama and West Georgia. She writes, records, and produces various radio commercials, interviews, and special programs to be played over the air. During the fall, she manages a team of 10 people for high school football broadcasts across the 3 stations on 4 different channels and on NFHS. She also runs the social media for all three stations.

When she is not working or doing audio projects for fun, you can find her painting, reading, writing, playing with her cats, Milo and Olive, or caring for a nearby small feral cat colony.
